Hector Viramontes, known under the pseudonym loosebrain, is a phoenix based artist whose work explores the subconscious connection between emotion and abstraction. Inspired by the abstract expressionists of New York, his work combines the looseness of gestural brush strokes with underlying themes of life, mortality and the shared human experience. His abstractions are combined with concrete elements to further communicate and connect with his audience. Nothing is left without purpose.
